Facial Deformity and
Corrective Jaw Surgery

What is Facial Deformity and Corrective Jaw Surgery?

This type of surgery deals with the correction and alteration of both hard (bony) and soft (skin) tissues of the face and may include the top and bottom jaws, nose and also the chin.  Patients suffering from these conditions may not only be unhappy with their facial features but also have problems chewing as the teeth may not meet properly. Common conditions requiring surgey would include treatment of under or over development of the jaws and chin, and is often undertaken with orthodontics ( a period of braces) to align the teeth.

This type of surgery, in combination with orthodontics, can give dramatic results.

Mr. Cronin will individually assess your needs and advise on the best possible treatment.
